What can I use it for?
The primary purpose is for large events and gatherings. But the concept works equally well up in your office, on a TV screen or to simply follow a trending topic as it takes place (such as football game).
Can we block certain users?
You can choose to follow only certain users to ensure tweets from legitimate people.
Can we have multiple hashtags?
You can you pick as many hashtags or users to follow as well filtering by users that are mentioned in tweets. You can choose to have any filter matched (e.g. @Monkey OR #Throw OR #Banana) or choose to have all filters matched (e.g. @Monkey AND #Throw AND #Banana).
Can we have multiple accounts?
You can sign-up for as many accounts as you like. You can create as many boards as you like under each account. You only pay for each board as and when you need it.
Can I brand it?
You can control all the colours, sizes and add your logo to your boards.
Can I white-label it?
We encourage the use of Socialise.io by PR and Events agencies on behalf of their clients. At this moment in time, you cannot white-label it. If this is something you are interested in, please get in touch.
Do I have to manage it throughout the event?
It will manage itself, the board will be updated, analytics recorded and sentiment/profanities automatically assessed. We would also recommend pre-scheduling tweets for output during the event to keep the conversion going.
Can I get analytics post-event?
Yes, and during the event. Simply log in to the admin dashboard and hit the reports icons next to your board. Analytics are updated in real-time.
Can I add a sponsor logo?
You can only add a single logo to the board, but you are welcome to combine your own logo with your sponsor for display next to each other. We would also recommend scheduling tweets from your sponsors through any events (you can include an image/logo) to get them on the big screen and raise awareness.
What networks are supported?
Twitter currently. There is plans in the roadmap to extend this functionality out to other networks such as Instagram. This will be rolled out based on customer demand.
Do I need to be connected to the internet?
Yes. The board will need a stable connection to the Internet. At events we recommend an Ethernet connected approach if WIFI at the location is slow or unstable.
What if I only have a few people interacting?
We will pre-load the board with past tweets when you first access it. We recommend you spend time before and during your event promoting discussion through Twitter and getting more people talking.
